The 6277P swaps the solid fabric for Multicam and Kryptek— and the result is a hat that carries the same polished, 360-degree professional look as the original, but built with real pattern credibility for outdoor and tactical markets. A full-color printed leather patch gives your logo its own clean canvas on top of the pattern — genuine top-grain leather, edge-to-edge color, and fine detail that holds its own against even the most complex camo background. For brands that operate outdoors and still need to look the part.
We advise against cleaning the printed color leather patch caps. When the leather patch absorbs water and starts to dry, it will push the water to the surface making the print bubble ruining the color print ink.

Does the 6277P fit the same as the solid 6277?

Yes — same mid-profile, 6-panel fitted construction, same Permacurv® visor, same 3½” crown height, same S/M and L/XL sizing. The only difference is the front fabric. Note that Multicam uses a cotton-spandex blend while Kryptek uses 100% Polyester — the polyester versions may feel slightly crisper out of the box.

Does removing the center seam factor into color printed patch placement on the 6277P?

The 6277P is a 6-panel hat and does have a center seam — but it is reinforced and flatter than most, so patches sit securely without the bridging effect seen on cheaper hats. Which leather color is best for color printed patches on camo patterns?

Natural (light) leather is strongly recommended. The print sits on top of the leather surface, so a lighter base ensures colors reproduce accurately. Natural leather also creates the strongest contrast against darker camo backgrounds like Kryptek Typhon — your logo gets a clean, uncompromised canvas regardless of what’s behind it.
Can I get a color printed leather patch wet in outdoor conditions?

We advise against it. While the 6277P’s polyester-based patterns handle moisture reasonably well, printed leather should stay dry. When printed leather absorbs water and dries, it can push moisture to the surface and cause the ink to bubble. For heavy outdoor moisture exposure, the dye sublimated twill patch is the most field-ready decoration option on the 6277P.
